Turmeric mayonnaise

A truly delicious sauce with a unique and delicate taste. Also very popular in the vegan version, it gives your aperitif a touch of style.
INGREDIENTS FOR 2 PEOPLE
  • 200 ml Seed oil
  • 15 ml Lemon juice (or vinegar)
  • 1 Egg
  • Turmeric
  • Salt

PREPARATION
The processing is very simple: put the seed oil, egg, lemon juice and salt in a mixer or in a glass if you prefer to use an immersion blender. Mix for a few seconds, about 8, without ever lifting or moving the immersion blender until you have a solid enough mayonnaise. Add the turmeric and continue to mix for another 10 seconds.
All the ingredients for the mayonnaise are to be used at room temperature. Prepare them and leave them out of the fridge for at least 30 ‘before starting the preparation. Suggestion for a more decisive and fragrant variant: add black pepper and a few sprigs of rosemary.
Alcoholic: high fermentation Blanche craft beer. Clear and milky, with a white and compact foam. Non-alcoholic: we suggest accompanying the mayonnaise with a non-alcoholic beer if you want to respect the symmetry among the guests or, as an alternative, serve tonic water with a slice of lemon and ice.
